Every year, the US Embassy announces a photo contest for SWT program participants.

Experiences from the summer and travel across  America can usually be sent by the graduates of the program by the beginning of October to the e-mail address of the competition together with the completed form, which can be downloaded here.

The committee at the U.S. Embassy will determine the finalists, whose photos will be published on the Embassy Facebook page over the course of two weeks in the month of October. Subsequently, the followers of the U.S. Embassy Slovakia Facebook page will decide the winner.

All finalists will be invited to a Thanksgiving dinner at the US Ambassador’s residence on Thanksgiving Day, where the award ceremony will also take place. You can find the winning photos from previous years on our Facebook page.
