*Level of proficiency does not discriminate or affect participation in program. Participants with lower proficiency are encouraged to use online translators for their application, as one of the goals of Summer Work & Travel program is to improve language skills of participants.

*Summer Work & Travel Ambassadors program is open for Slovak citizens or permanent residents who speak and work fluently in the Slovak language.

*Summer Work & Travel is open for post-secondary school students enrolled in and actively pursuing a degree or other full-time course of study at an accredited classroom based, post-secondary educational institution outside the United States, who have successfully completed at least one semester or equivalent of post-secondary academic study.
**Summer Work & Travel Ambassadors program is open for students of universities from Slovakia.

By submitting this application, the applicant also grants the consent to:
– the U.S. Embassy in Slovakia, POBOX 309, 814 99 Bratislava,
– Campleaders
– CKM
– Digital agencies PS:Digital and Elia (as cooperating subjects)
to the processing of personal data in the scope of: Name and surname, address of permanent residence, e-mail address, telephone, school, nationality of the applicant and all other information required in the application form, for the purpose of implementing the program and its further promotion by the U.S. Embassy in Slovakia, Campleaders, CKM, PS:Digital and Elia. At the same time, s/he expresses his consent to the processing and storage of provided personal data for an indefinite period. Consent to data storage can be revoked at any time by written revocation of consent delivered to the US Embassy in Bratislava, POBOX 309, 814 99 Bratislava, or electronically to contact_Bratislava@state.gov.

The Embassy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to verify in the final analysis whether the participant fulfills all the conditions stated in the detailed description of the project and, at its own discretion, to remove the candidate from the program in case of providing incorrect or misleading data.
