for an
amazing
summer

Spend your summer in the U.S. working and travelling almost for free. Are you interested in a scholarship? If you are eligible for the program and ready to actively promote the program upon your return from the U.S., fill in this form and become one of our Summer Work & Travel Ambassadors. Deadline for applications is December 9.
About scholarship:
  • All program costs except for the visa costs ($195) covered
  • 246 slots for Slovak students open for summer 2023
  • Jobs in summer camps or hotels, restaurants, parks, resorts
  • Pool of diverse candidates in terms of gender, regions, economic background, minorities etc.
Scholarship conditions:
  • Age 18+
  • Full-time college student (not final year student or graduate) at Slovak universities
  • Slovak citizen or permanent resident
  • Lower English proficiency level not a problem
  • Be ready to actively promote the program upon your return from the U.S.

Filling in the application form is free and does not bind participants to any financial agreements before signing an agreement with the agency. Application and documents are in below in English.

    *Level of proficiency does not discriminate or affect participation in program. Participants with lower proficiency are encouraged to use online translators for their application, as one of the goals of Summer Work & Travel program is to improve language skills of participants.

    *Summer Work & Travel Ambassadors program is open for Slovak citizens or permanent residents who speak and work fluently in the Slovak language.

    Where do you study? Please, specify which level and year.

    *Summer Work & Travel is open for post-secondary school students enrolled in and actively pursuing a degree or other full-time course of study at an accredited classroom based, post-secondary educational institution outside the United States, who have successfully completed at least one semester or equivalent of post-secondary academic study.
    **Summer Work & Travel Ambassadors program is open for students of universities from Slovakia.

    By submitting this application, the applicant also grants the consent to:

    – Campleaders
    – CKM
    – Digital agencies PS:Digital and Elia (as cooperating subjects)
    to the processing of personal data in the scope of: Name and surname, address of permanent residence, e-mail address, telephone, school, nationality of the applicant and all other information required in the application form, for the purpose of implementing the program and its further promotion by the U.S. Embassy in Slovakia, Campleaders, CKM, PS:Digital and Elia.     The Embassy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to verify in the final analysis whether the participant fulfills all the conditions stated in the detailed description of the project and, at its own discretion, to remove the candidate from the program in case of providing incorrect or misleading data.
